As the Human Resources Director, Brook leads people and develops human resource strategy to support the overall planning and strategic direction of the organization, especially in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, and compensation.
Brook is a graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Multimedia & Visual Communication. She is also a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
Brook has been in the Human Resources field for over ten years, with five of those years in healthcare.
St. Anthony has sentimental meaning to Brook on the personal side. "Having a mother battle cancer three different times in her life, with her final battle lasting nearly five years, I was at St. Anthony regularly in support of her," she said. "I was always impressed by the high level of care she received. St. Anthony became almost like a second family to her and I was so grateful that my mom could still have a positive experience even while going through something so difficult."
"I am passionate about St. Anthony Hospital’s powerful mission and purpose and am proud to be a part of an organization that not only has touched me and my family personally, but also has such a huge impact on the communities we serve," she concluded.
Brook recently completed her last term serving on the Carroll Parks and Recreation board of directors and currently serves on the Iowa Workforce and Development board of directors.
