CMS Students Spread Kindness to St. Anthony
Since February, the middle school students have all worked together to spread kindness in Carroll through the BLOHMing with Kindness Project.
The project was in conjunction with the annual kindness campaign from the Carroll High School Foundation.
Mrs. Martin’s (the 7th graders) class wanted to help provide comfort to children who are patients at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. The students decided to help create tie blankets that could be given to children throughout various departments at St. Anthony.

Student Interns Summer 2024
The St. Anthony summer internship will kick off on June 10th with 26 interns who will be working in clinical and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital. Interns are exploring and preparing for careers in nursing, rehab services, surgery, dietetics, radiology, oncology, laboratory, IT, and healthcare administration.
Interns can fill a work role in a designated unit, with opportunities to explore and observe in other clinical areas of interest.
Please give these interns a warm welcome when you see them around St. Anthony!

The 2024 Wellness Fair promotes awareness of all aspects of wellness to St. Anthony employees.
The 2024 Wellness Fair is scheduled for June 20, 2024 from 11am to 3pm in the Atrium. Stop by and check out the vendors!
Vendors include hospital departments, non-profit organizations, community organizations, and local businesses from Carroll and surrounding communities.

St. Anthony Foundation News: Scholarships & 26th Annual Golf Outing
St. Anthony Foundation awarded $24,300 in scholarships to 34 students in west central Iowa at a ceremony in May. These scholarships are awarded annually to individuals pursuing professional healthcare careers. Since the beginning of the scholarship program in 2003, over $250,000 in awards have helped 337 students achieve their goal of continued education in health care! Read more here.
Also, noteworthy is the 26th Annual St. Anthony Foundation Golf Classic! This year's event is
Monday, June 24th at the Carroll National Golf Course. Proceeds from this year's event will be directed towards the expansion and improvements in the Emergency Department.
