Course Description
This course will include three sessions, taking place on September 9, 16, and 23, each from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
This course is designed for anyone monitoring electrocardiogram (EKG) rhythms. Measuring EKG strips and understanding the most common abnormalities is the basis of this course. Interpreting EKGs and applying the knowledge to patient treatment will prepare learners for the Advanced EKG course.
Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to:
- Illustrate electrical conduction through the heart.
- Recognize the most common EKG abnormalities.
- Interpret nine EKG abnormalities.
- Verbalize patient assessment and possible intervention based on cardiac rhythms.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
A fee of $30, plus the cost of text if not returned, will be retained for cancellations received 5 days prior to course date. No refund for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the course date, though registration is transferrable to another person attending the same session.
St. Anthony reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment. If this occurs, participant’s entire registration fee will be refunded.
