This Birth Place Experience class will provide information about taking care of your infant safely at home, allow you to explore feeding options, and equip you with knowledge of the labor experience. Anyone who will be supporting you during labor and delivery is also encouraged to attend.
The class will also include the opportunity to tour The Birth Place facilities (if attending the Carroll location’s class) and become familiar with the birthing environment. Led by a lactation specialist and labor and delivery nurse who will answer all your individual questions and concerns.
It is recommended that you schedule The Birth Place Experience class during your third trimester.
We offer the Birth Place Experience Class in Carroll at the St. Anthony Hospital Education Center.
In Denison, classes are held at Crossroads of Crawford County.
