Course Description

The 8th Edition NRP Provider certification program is completed in two separate parts.

Part 1: Complete the sequential, online learning activities on the HealthStream HLC. These activities focus on building a foundation of neonatal resuscitation knowledge and include: a provider exam (25 questions); eSim cases; a second provider exam (25 questions); and eSim evaluation. Estimated time of completion is 4 hours, 13 minutes. Students have unlimited attempts to take the exam. Participants achieving a passing score on the written exam will have 90 days to complete the Performance and Integrated Skills.

Part 2: Attend the Performance and Integrated Skills Instructor-led Event and complete the online Instructor-led Event evaluation. Note: Evaluation of the Instructor-led Event is required before the eCard can be printed.

Intended Audience: Physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists experienced in the care of the newborn at the time of delivery.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

A fee of $30, plus the cost of the text if not returned, will be retained for cancellations received 10 days prior to course date. No refund for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the course date, though registration is transferrable to another person attending the same session.
