Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with a better understanding of a trauma informed approach. Through this course, participants will:
- Develop a base knowledge of the scope and impact of trauma for patients.
- Analyze behaviors that may be displayed by those with trauma.
- Examine tips and skills to use with patients to help reduce re-traumatization and increase the likelihood of patients seeking support.
- Participate in a collaborative conversation about barriers to providing trauma-responsive care.
