St. Anthony Hospice will present the Tree of Love Ceremony in the Atrium at St. Anthony Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

The annual Tree of Love ceremony is a way for the community to honor their loved ones, living or deceased. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us for this special event.

Order forms for the ornaments are now available at St. Anthony Coffee & Gift Shop, at the Home Health & Hospice office (located between Wolfe Eye Clinic and Iowa Heart), online, or by calling the Hospice office at 712-794-5279. Order forms have been mailed to those who have purchased ornaments in the past. Last day for orders to be placed will be Wednesday, November 1st.

This year’s ornament will feature a cardinal perched on a frosted branch with the quote, “I am always with you”.

“The holiday season can be a difficult time for people who have lost a loved one, and I think bringing back the cardinal is a nice way to remind people that, “Cardinals appear when angels are near,” said Hospice Coordinator Whitney Hinners. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
