The visit began with a brief tour of the hospital, followed by a Q&A session that focused on important rural health care topics. Discussion points included access to care, behavioral health, Medicare and Medicaid, the 340B drug pricing program, cancer care, and other pressing issues affecting rural communities.

We were grateful for the opportunity to share our insights and advocate for policies that support rural health care providers and the patients we serve. The conversation highlighted both the ongoing challenges and the unique strengths of delivering care in rural Iowa.
