A new baby is always a joyous occasion but a New Year’s Baby is pretty special!

Three babies were born at St. Anthony on January 3rd but the first baby of 2022 arrived at 12:38 p.m.  Ainsley Jean Schroeder made her appearance first, a little more than two hours before the next arrival.

Ainsley is the daughter of Justin and Courtney Schroeder of Coon Rapids also joining her older brother, Cash, who is almost two-years old. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. Ainsley’s paternal grandparents are Dave and Linda Schroeder of Coon Rapids and her maternal grandparents are Ginger and Paul Williams of Ackley and Jeff and Barb Clawson of Ames. The attending physician was Dr. Carly Quam.

Justin and Courtney received a gift basket filled with blankets, toys, diapers, lotions, soaps, onesies and other items that were donated by area churches and St. Anthony Auxiliary.
