The St. Anthony Foundation awarded $60,000 in scholarships to 40 students in west central Iowa last week.
These scholarships are awarded annually to individuals pursuing careers in the healthcare field. Since the beginning of the scholarship program in 2003, 382 scholarships totaling more than $314,600 have been awarded to help students achieve their goal of continued education in health care.
“Each year, St. Anthony Foundation is proud to award scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in healthcare,” said Sarah Foley, St. Anthony Foundation Director. “This annual event celebrates student achievement, thanks our generous donors, and highlights the bright future of healthcare in west central Iowa. We’re especially grateful to those who support these scholarships—often through endowed gifts—which help students across a range of fields, including chemistry, nursing, emergency medical services, neuroscience, and sonography.”
