Thinking of the Future

Margaret Seidl was a retired nurse who chose to move back home and retire in Carroll after being a nurse in Washington D.C. for 40 years. Margaret knew the importance of having plenty of well-trained nurses to care for people’s healthcare needs in the coming years, especially as Americans are growing older.

Margaret’s concern prompted her to make several gifts to the St. Anthony Healthcare Education Scholarship fund. Through her generosity and the generosity of others, St. Anthony is able to grant several scholarships each year to financially assist students who are pursuing a rewarding career of nursing.

Margaret always said “nursing is hard work, but it is a wonderful career.” Her generosity will encourage young people to consider a career in healthcare, especially nursing.
