St. Anthony Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome Matt Wessling, ARNP, to the St. Anthony Clinic in Carroll. He provides family medicine care for patients ages 6 months and older and brings specialized experience in pulmonary and sleep medicine.
In his role, Wessling offers comprehensive, ongoing care that includes preventive services, chronic disease management, annual wellness exams, and same-day treatment for acute illnesses and injuries. He also evaluates and treats sleep-related conditions, including insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy and hypersomnia.

Matt Wessling, ARNP
Originally from Breda, Iowa, Wessling graduated from Kuemper High School before attending the University of Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing. After moving to the Des Moines area, he began his career as a bedside nurse in cardiology before returning to school to become a nurse practitioner.
Wessling later practiced at a pulmonary and sleep clinic, where he developed experience treating both common and complex sleep disorders. He recently moved to Carroll with his wife and three young children.
“My goal has always been to work in family medicine and build long-term relationships with patients,” says Wessling. “I want to care for the whole family and serve the community I was raised in.”
