Mission Cancer + Blood (Formerly Cancer Centers of Iowa)
Dr. Robert Behrens is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist dedicated to providing advanced cancer care close to home. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed fellowship training at the National Cancer Institute, where he specialized in cancer immunotherapy.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Behrens has held leadership roles in national and statewide clinical research, helping bring innovative cancer treatments and clinical trials to Iowa communities.
